About The Author

I’ve been obsessed with business since I was seven—walking through the streets of Medellín, Colombia, with a cassette recorder, asking adults how they made money. At eight, I moved to the U.S. and began my entrepreneurial journey delivering newspapers. That early hunger to understand how people grow and thrive in business never left me.

I studied business at Bryant University, spent time in corporate America, and eventually realized I was called to build something of my own. That leap led to the launch of Xzito, the marketing and growth agency I’ve led for over 20 years—serving more than 2,500 businesses across industries.

Along the way, I co-founded and bootstrapped a seven-figure company with two partners; studied at Harvard and MIT; and graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program—later joining the faculty.

I’ve worked with CEOs, founders, and leadership teams to help them break through ceilings and scale with clarity, structure, and purpose. But the journey wasn’t without its lessons. I’ve spent years in mastermind rooms, watching brilliant entrepreneurs build outward success—while quietly struggling behind the scenes. I’ve seen how the pursuit of growth can cost more than expected: burnout, broken marriages, strained families, declining health, emotional exhaustion, and the quiet
erosion of confidence when your vision is misunderstood or rejected.
